Traffic elements of the Citizens Security Secretariat of Mexico City carried out blockades and operations in response to the protests planned by members of the criminal organization "Los 300" following the arrest of their leader, Luis "N" alias 'El Conejo'. The arrest of this individual took place in Veracruz, with the collaboration of various authorities.
In a video that circulated on social media, the members of "Los 300" expressed their support for the detained leader, stating: "If they touch one, they touch us all!". These security actions caused traffic problems towards Mexico City, affecting mobility in the area.
The Attorney General's Office of the State of Mexico reported the capture of Luis "N" alias "El Conejo", identified as the leader of "Los 300". On various banners, the members of the organization denounced violations of their rights and violence during the arrest.
Despite the blockades carried out by traffic elements at strategic points, the members of "Los 300" conducted marches both in the State of Mexico and towards the capital, demanding the release of their leader. One of the caravans of protesters advanced towards the capital's Zócalo, demanding respect for citizens' rights.
Authorities have identified "El Conejo" as a priority target due to his alleged involvement in crimes such as homicide, drug trafficking, violent robbery, and extortion in various sectors.
